THE MENTALITY OF MIND CONTROL
------------------------------------------------------------
Hello My name is (Name Omitted)
I have been studying with the witnesses for 5 months straight. Before I
started I would be in it one month and out for 1 year.
I just started and in all the 10 years I spent on the fence I regret it. I
am writing you today because my heart goes out to you.
Jehovah is real. Is it not what Satin told EVE. Is is true God said if you
eat of the tree of Knowledge of good and evil, you will die.
Well, The Devil told Eve. You will not die, but in the day you eat of it you
will be like God knowing good and bad. This is just the message Satin gave to
Adam and Eve. I just had to defend Jehovah. THE FACT IS YOU WILL DIE.
That is all I have to say
Jehovah want's all to attain to repentence ... Come back------------------------------------------------------------Letter :
Dear ........ ,
Thanks for writing, I appreciate it. Sorry I did not get back sooner, I get email lazy.
About Jehovah's Witnesses: Look, sure there are a lot of wrong teachings and doctrines and you will find wrong doctrines in almost every denomination and church. Then what's the problem here?
Shunning. This act of shunning persons who left the organization is not only unchristian, but destructive, harmful and against God. 1 Corinthians chapter 5 and 2 John are completely misapplied.
I personally know parents who were not invited to their own children's wedding because of all the witnesses who were going to be there and are not allowed to attend if a disfellowshipped or disassociated person is there, so the parents were not invited. This woman here was very upset, cried, hurt and so much more that this little email does not even begin to describe in words. The married couple later had children and these grandparents have not been welcome to see their grandchildren more than a few times.
You may try to reason the above as an isolated type case, or that there are other reasons that I am not stating or do not know. But I swear to you that this story is only one out of thousands I have heard and spoken to with many persons. The shunning policy of a man made organization has destroyed many families and is a destructive force against Christianity.
I could say so much more, but I will leave it at this, the shunning of former members ruins many of their lives. Not only does it break up, take away, and destroy their families, but the emotional scars remain for a lifetime. Make sure before you check in (baptized by them) you do thorough research by all avenues, because you can NEVER check out.
God bless,
Richard Schwartz

I've been struggling for 4 years with leaving the WT, have some days when I
feel great, and have a good relationship with God, and other days when I am
just eaten up with guilt. But the good days are getting more frequent, as long
as I keep my nose out WT literature.
Dear ............,
Thanks for the note. It appears to me that the feelings of guilt are the tell
tale signs from belonging to a controlling organization. Just try to think of
it this way, no man or group of men can determine your relationship with God,
but they would like you to think differently. It's a terrible shame the
Watchtower has done this to people and this is precisely what makes it more
than a religion, but much further to being a cult, because it ingrains
feelings of guilt, pain and dependence on a man made interpretation of who
God is and of who they are. Give it time, things will only get better. My
personal advise is to try your very best not to seek out any other church or
religion, only to get dependent on them and loosing your freedom.
